Zobnin Reveals Interest from Borussia Dortmund
Spartak Moscow midfielder Roman Zobnin has commented on the interest shown by Borussia Dortmund in acquiring his services.
“There wasn’t an official offer, but there was interest. These are different things. Roma Neustädter later told me that they had inquired about me in Dortmund. But that was after the fact,” Zobnin stated in an episode on the “Comment.Show” YouTube channel.
Previously, Zobnin shared his memories of working under the guidance of former Spartak coach Domenico Tedesco, whom he considers one of the best coaches in his career.
Zobnin has been playing for Spartak since 2016. In the current season, the 30-year-old Russian has participated in 10 matches, scoring one goal and providing one assist. According to Transfermarkt, the player’s market value is estimated at 3.5 million euros.
