Zakharyan Makes First Squad Appearance for Real Sociedad This Season

Russian midfielder Arsen Zakharyan has been included in Real Sociedad’s match squad for the first time in the 2024/25 season. The 21-year-old player has been named in the team for the Copa del Rey round of 32 match against Ponferradina, scheduled for January 5th at 17:30 Moscow time.

Zakharyan’s return to the squad comes after a lengthy absence due to an injury to the peroneal tendons in his right ankle, which he sustained in July. This setback has prevented him from participating in any matches so far this season.
