West Ham Eye AC Milan’s Yunus Musah in January Transfer Move
West Ham United are reportedly lining up a £15 million bid for AC Milan forward Yunus Musah as the January transfer window approaches. The versatile 22-year-old USA international has impressed in various attacking roles for Milan this season.
With Jarrod Bowen currently filling in as a makeshift striker and Michail Antonio sidelined long-term with injury, West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui is keen to add more firepower up front. The club has also been linked with Brighton striker Evan Ferguson as they look to strengthen their attacking options.
Musah, who came through Arsenal’s youth academy, has caught West Ham’s eye with his performances for Milan in both midfield and forward positions. The Italian club are said to be looking for over £17 million to part with the talented youngster.
Known for his dribbling ability and versatility, Musah recently impressed in Milan’s 3-1 Champions League victory away at Real Madrid. His potential signing could provide West Ham with an exciting attacking option as they aim to climb the Premier League table in the second half of the season.
While West Ham face competition for Musah’s signature, their willingness to meet Milan’s valuation could put them in pole position to land the USA international when the transfer window opens in January.
