Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior expressed gratitude to his teammates following the team’s 2-1 victory over Valencia in a rescheduled match of La Liga’s 12th round. The Brazilian player received a red card in the 79th minute for pushing goalkeeper Stole Dmitrievski.

“I apologize and thank you, team,” Vinicius wrote on his social media account.

With this win, Real Madrid has accumulated 43 points and climbed to the top of the La Liga table. Valencia remains in 19th place with 12 points.
