Vinicius Junior Expected to Win The Best FIFA Men’s Player Award for 2024
According to reports, Real Madrid’s star forward Vinicius Junior is expected to be crowned The Best FIFA Men’s Player for 2024. The prestigious award ceremony is scheduled to take place on December 17th.
The Brazilian sensation faces stiff competition from a star-studded list of nominees, including Jude Bellingham (England, Real Madrid), Dani Carvajal (Spain, Real Madrid), Erling Haaland (Norway, Manchester City), Toni Kroos (Germany, Real Madrid), Kylian Mbappé (France, PSG/Real Madrid), Lionel Messi (Argentina, Inter Miami), Rodri (Spain, Manchester City), Federico Valverde (Uruguay, Real Madrid), Florian Wirtz (Germany, Bayer Leverkusen), and Lamine Yamal (Spain, Barcelona).
It’s worth noting that Manchester City midfielder Rodri recently claimed the Ballon d’Or, presented by France Football, as the best footballer of the year.
The Best FIFA Football Awards are held annually during the winter. The voting process involves three representatives from each FIFA member country: national team captains, head coaches, and journalists. Additionally, fan votes collected through FIFA’s website are also taken into consideration.
