Udinese Manager Runjaic Reflects on Recent Victory and Team Developments
Following Udinese’s triumph over Fiorentina, head coach Kosta Runjaic addressed the media in a post-match conference. He shared his thoughts on various aspects of the team’s performance and player conditions.
Regarding the victory, Runjaic expressed, “These three points are crucial, especially against such a formidable opponent. Playing in Florence is always challenging, but it’s a beautiful city. We’re extremely pleased with this win, which serves as an excellent Christmas gift for our entire team.”
When questioned about the possibility of securing a spot in European competitions, Runjaic deflected, stating, “Let’s move on to the next question. Europe has many lovely cities, indeed.”
Discussing Sanchez’s condition, the coach revealed, “He’s gained some playing time, but today’s match wasn’t suitable for further conditioning, particularly given the intensity in the final minutes. He’s training well but isn’t at full fitness yet. We anticipate he’ll have more opportunities in upcoming matches and prove valuable to the team.”
Runjaic also commented on Iker Bravo, saying, “He’s a talented young man with great energy. There’s still room for improvement, and we have high expectations for him. We place a lot of confidence in his abilities.”
