Terekhin: Dynamo Could Consider Loaning Zakharyan When He’s Healthy
Former Dynamo Moscow striker Oleg Terekhin has commented on the injury situation of Real Sociedad midfielder Arsen Zakharyan.
When asked if Zakharyan moved to Europe too early, Terekhin responded: “No, why too early? It was right for him to move. Injuries happen, what can you do? It was an unfortunate, long-term injury. These things occur. Now he needs to fully recover, prepare, be patient and train. I understand the coach believes in him and is counting on him, stating the club doesn’t want to let him go anywhere. It’s good when there’s a coach who believes in a player.”
Regarding whether Dynamo Moscow should consider loaning Zakharyan after Bitello’s departure, Terekhin said: “It could be considered. But firstly, would Arsen himself want this? Secondly, would the club let him go? Thirdly, he needs to be healthy. When the player is healthy, then discussions can be had. It’s unknown how long he’ll be out for.”
The 21-year-old Zakharyan missed the first half of the 2024/25 season due to an ankle tendon injury sustained in July.
