Sky Sports Commentator Suggests Potential Everton Transfer Target for January
During a live broadcast of West Bromwich Albion’s match against Bristol City on Sunday, Sky Sports commentator Guy Havord hinted at Everton’s interest in signing a promising young player in the upcoming January transfer window.
Havord mentioned that Everton could be looking to acquire West Brom midfielder Tom Fellows, stating: “He will likely be one of those players considered during the January window. Reports suggest Everton was interested this past summer. With new ownership, Everton will likely aim to strengthen their squad and may have increased funds available. Most would agree that Tom Fellows is certainly a player for the future.”
While Fellows, 21, may not yet have Premier League experience, he could prove to be an excellent long-term investment for Everton. The young midfielder has featured in all 22 of West Brom’s Championship matches this season, starting 19 and providing 8 assists, demonstrating his creative abilities.
Former England international Carlton Palmer has also praised Fellows, saying: “He’s had his breakthrough into the first team over the past 12 months. He’s an exciting player with fantastic potential who is likely to increase in value.”
As Everton looks to build for the future, acquiring a mix of experienced players and promising young talent will be crucial. Fellows certainly fits into the latter category and could develop into an important part of Everton’s future as they transition to their new stadium.
