Sevilla Refutes Reports of Sporting Director Orta’s Move to Spartak Moscow

The press service of Sevilla FC has addressed recent speculation regarding the potential appointment of their sporting director, Victor Orta, to a similar position at Spartak Moscow. In response to inquiries, Sevilla’s representatives firmly stated, “The suggestion that Orta might become Spartak’s sporting director is entirely unfounded.”

This statement comes in the wake of reports by Metaratings, which had claimed that the Spanish executive was the leading candidate for the position at the Moscow-based club.

Meanwhile, Spartak Moscow continues to perform well in their domestic league. As the autumn-winter portion of the season concludes, Spartak finds itself in third place with 37 points. They trail closely behind league leaders Krasnodar and second-placed Zenit, both of whom have accumulated 39 points.

The denial from Sevilla puts to rest rumors of significant changes in their management structure, while Spartak’s search for potential additions to their leadership team remains a subject of speculation.
