Serie A’s Highest-Paid Executives: Juventus Takes the Lead
A recent financial analysis of Serie A clubs has shed light on the earnings of top executives in Italian football. The study, covering the 2023/24 season, reveals interesting trends in executive compensation across the league’s biggest clubs.
Over the past five seasons, most clubs have shown a consistent upward trend in executive pay, with Roma and Juventus being notable exceptions. The latter’s decrease is only observed in the most recent season.
AC Milan emerges as the biggest spender on board member salaries, allocating a total of €19.2 million over the five-year period, significantly outpacing other clubs. Atalanta follows in second place with €13.5 million, while Napoli rounds out the top three with nearly €11.9 million.
Juventus and Inter Milan are next in line, each spending around €9 million on executive compensation. Rome’s two clubs, AS Roma and Lazio, occupy the lower end of the spectrum, with expenditures of €6.3 million and €5 million respectively.
