Brazilian football legend Ronaldo has expressed his admiration for Real Madrid’s forward Vinicius Junior, stating that he is the most deserving recipient of the FIFA Best Men’s Player award for 2024.

“It’s been 16 years since a Brazilian last won the world’s best player trophy. Now, it’s rightfully in Vini’s hands, signifying much more than his crucial role in matches and outstanding performance in the 2023/24 season,” Ronaldo shared on his social media. “His talent alone would suffice for the award, but his strength extends far beyond the pitch. Ronaldo further praised the 24-year-old footballer as a symbol of perseverance and resistance. He emphasized that Vinicius’s achievement is particularly significant given the challenges he has faced.

In the previous season, Vinicius played 39 matches for Real Madrid, scoring 24 goals and providing 11 assists. He contributed to the team’s success in winning the Spanish La Liga title and the UEFA Champions League.
