Baldanzi picks up the ball on the halfway line, drives forward and finds the bottom corner with a superb finish from the edge of the box. A touch of Paulo Dybala about that goal.

It’s that combination again – Pisilli switches play to Saelemaekers on the right, his cross hits the bar via a Sampdoria defender and Dovbyk heads home from close range.

9′ – GOAL! Roma 1-0 Sampdoria (Dovbyk)

Baldanzi releases Saelemaekers down the right, his low cross is turned in by Dovbyk for the striker’s first goal since early November.
