Roma and Sampdoria Announce Starting Lineups for Coppa Italia Match
Roma and Sampdoria have unveiled their starting lineups for tonight’s Coppa Italia Round of 16 encounter. The match kicks off at 20:00 GMT at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
Roma manager Claudio Ranieri has opted for a strong side, with several first-team regulars included. Mario Hermoso and Evan Ndicka anchor the defense, while Leandro Paredes starts in midfield. Up front, Artem Dovbyk leads the line supported by Nicola Zalewski and Tommaso Baldanzi.
Sampdoria, who have already eliminated two Serie A sides from the competition this season, have made nine changes from their weekend Serie B draw with Spezia. They will be hoping to cause another cup upset against their higher-ranked opponents.
If the match is tied after 90 minutes, it will go straight to a penalty shootout without extra time.

Roma (3-4-2-1): Ryan; Celik, Ndicka, Hermoso; Saelemaekers, Paredes, Pisili, Angelino; Zalewski, Baldanzi; Dovbyk
Sampdoria (4-3-3): Vismara; Venuti, Meulensteen, Vulikic, Veroli; Akinsanmiro, Yeper, Vieira; Borini, Leonardi, Pedrola
The winner of this tie will advance to the Coppa Italia quarter-finals. Both teams will be eager to progress in Italy’s premier cup competition and keep their hopes of silverware alive this season.
