A familiar name has resurfaced in AC Milan’s training grounds, but it’s not the legendary Clarence Seedorf making a comeback. Instead, it’s his 17-year-old son, Denzel, who’s catching the eye of the Rossoneri faithful.

Denzel Seedorf, currently part of Milan’s Under-18 squad coached by Marco Visconti, recently participated in a training session with the first team under Paulo Fonseca’s watchful eye. This opportunity came just before the Christmas break, as evidenced by images shared on the club’s official Instagram account.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Denzel plays as a midfielder and has been part of Milan’s youth setup since joining the Under-13 team. Born just two days after Milan’s seventh Champions League triumph in Athens against Liverpool, Denzel was named after the renowned Hollywood actor Denzel Washington.

The young Seedorf has been making steady progress through Milan’s ranks, sharing the pitch with other promising talents like Mattia Liberali and Francesco Camarda, who have already tasted Serie A action. He has also played alongside Maxsimilian Ibrahimovic, son of the iconic Zlatan, who currently stars for Milan’s Primavera team.
