Real Sociedad Confirms Zakharyan’s Full Participation in Team Training

Real Sociedad’s press office has confirmed that Russian midfielder Arsen Zakharyan has fully reintegrated into the team’s training sessions without any limitations. The club’s spokesperson stated, “On December 30th, the team resumed training after a brief break. Arsen Zakharyan is participating in full group sessions without any restrictions.”

The 21-year-old Russian player underwent ankle surgery in Barcelona on August 6th. He initially rejoined team training on October 17th, marking a significant milestone in his recovery process.

Zakharyan joined Real Sociedad from Dynamo Moscow in the summer of 2022. Since his arrival at the Spanish club, the midfielder has made 40 appearances, scoring one goal and providing two assists.

This update comes as positive news for both the player and the club, as Zakharyan’s full return to training suggests he may soon be available for competitive matches. Spanish football coach Raul Riancho had previously expressed confidence that Real Sociedad would provide Zakharyan with opportunities to showcase his talents on the field.
