In the 60th minute, Kylian Mbappé appeared to equalize for Madrid, but the goal was disallowed by VAR due to offside.

The match took a dramatic turn in the 79th minute when Real Madrid was reduced to 10 men after Vinícius Júnior received a red card for pushing the goalkeeper. However, substitute Luka Modric leveled the score just a minute later. In a thrilling finale, Bellingham scored the winning goal for Madrid deep into stoppage time.
