RB Leipzig defeats Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 in Bundesliga matchday 14

RB Leipzig earned a hard-fought 2-1 win at home against Eintracht Frankfurt in the 14th round of the German Bundesliga on December 15, 2024.

Benjamin Šeško opened the scoring for Leipzig in the 19th minute. Frankfurt equalized through Nathaniel Brown just before halftime in the 40th minute. Loïs Openda netted the winning goal for Leipzig in the 52nd minute to secure all three points.

With this victory, RB Leipzig (27 points) moves up to fourth place in the Bundesliga standings. Marco Rose’s team is now level on points with third-placed Eintracht Frankfurt (27), but trails on goal difference.
