Rayan Cherki Set to Stay at Lyon Despite Liverpool Interest

Rayan Cherki, the 21-year-old French talent, is currently enjoying a strong run of form at Olympique Lyonnais. However, his future at the club remains uncertain beyond this season. Despite Lyon’s financial struggles and potential need to sell players to avoid relegation, Cherki appears committed to staying with his boyhood club until at least the summer.

While Paris Saint-Germain had previously shown interest in Cherki, they are unlikely to pursue him again after feeling disrespected during negotiations last summer. A potential move to PSG fell through when Cherki’s representatives pushed for a transfer to Borussia Dortmund instead, though that deal also failed to materialize.
