PSG Expresses Interest in Victor Osimhen for Potential January Transfer
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has rekindled their interest in Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen (25), potentially eyeing a move in the January transfer window. The French club had previously shown interest in Osimhen during the summer but did not pursue it further at that time.
Osimhen, who was also on Chelsea’s radar, ultimately joined Galatasaray after being sidelined by Napoli. Since his move to the Turkish club, he has demonstrated impressive form, scoring 10 goals in 14 appearances.
PSG has now made contact with Osimhen regarding a possible transfer. However, the situation is complex. Manager Luis Enrique was previously reluctant to sign a traditional striker and may maintain this stance. Additionally, Osimhen’s current loan status at Galatasaray complicates matters, requiring negotiations between PSG, Napoli, and the Turkish club.
Despite these challenges, Osimhen is reportedly open to the idea of joining PSG. The potential move to the Parc des Princes appeals to the striker, although the transfer’s feasibility remains uncertain due to the various parties involved and the complexity of the negotiations required.
