PSG Clinches Trophée des Champions with Last-Minute Victory over Monaco

In a thrilling Trophée des Champions final held in Qatar, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) emerged victorious with a 1-0 win over AS Monaco, courtesy of Ousmane Dembélé’s last-gasp goal.

The match, played at Stadium 974 in Doha, saw PSG dominate the first half, creating several chances that were expertly denied by Monaco’s goalkeeper Philipp Köhn. Despite Monaco’s improved performance in the second half, including a close attempt by Vanderson that struck the post, PSG maintained control.

As the game seemed destined for penalties, Fabián Ruiz found Dembélé at the far post in the 92nd minute, allowing the French international to secure PSG’s retention of the Trophée des Champions.

Standout performances included Achraf Hakimi for PSG, who was a constant threat down the right flank, and Monaco’s Philipp Köhn, whose exceptional goalkeeping kept his team in contention throughout the match.

This victory underlines PSG’s continued dominance in French football, while Monaco will rue their missed opportunities in a closely contested final.
