Premier League Clubs Eyeing RC Lens Defenders

RC Lens may face departures of key defenders in the upcoming transfer window. Abdukodir Khusanov, the 20-year-old Uzbekistan international, has caught the attention of several Premier League clubs. Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, and Leicester City are all reportedly interested in acquiring the young talent.

Khusanov’s teammate, Kevin Danso, is also attracting interest from English clubs. The 26-year-old Austrian defender nearly left Lens last summer, but a move to AS Roma fell through due to medical concerns. Recent tests have cleared Danso, allowing him to continue his career.

Lens may need to sell players to raise funds, potentially opening the door for Danso’s departure. Southampton, where Danso previously spent time on loan, and Wolverhampton Wanderers have expressed interest in the defender. Spanish club Villarreal is also monitoring the situation.
