Paulo Dybala’s Potential Departure from Roma

Paulo Dybala’s future at AS Roma appears uncertain as rumors of a potential January transfer intensify. The Argentine striker’s agent has reportedly held discussions with Turkish club Galatasaray, fueling speculation about his departure.

Roma’s management seems open to releasing Dybala next month, with his current contract set to expire in June 2025. The club has shown little interest in negotiating a new deal, suggesting he may not be part of their long-term plans.

Tensions began to surface last summer when Dybala’s salary was increased significantly. His improved terms could see him earn up to €32 million gross if he meets certain appearance criteria this season.

Despite rejecting a lucrative offer from Saudi club Al Qadsiah in the summer, Dybala’s situation at Roma has not improved. The team’s poor performance and managerial changes have led the club to consider offers for several players, including their star striker.

With only two goals and one assist in 18 appearances this season, Dybala’s form has declined. As Roma sits just above the relegation zone, a January departure for the Argentine seems increasingly likely.

While it remains to be seen if Dybala will accept a move in the upcoming transfer window, Roma appears prepared to part ways with the player who once delighted fans by choosing to stay with the club.
