Napoli Nears Deal with Lecce for Hasa-Marin Swap in January 2025
Napoli is on the verge of securing a deal with Lecce for the transfer of promising Italian Under-19 midfielder Luis Hasa. The agreement may involve a potential loan move for defender Rafa Marin in the opposite direction.
According to reports, negotiations for Hasa’s transfer are nearly complete. The 20-year-old midfielder, who was part of Juventus’ youth academy, has already worked under Napoli’s current sporting director Giovanni Manna.
Hasa, who will turn 21 next month, was a member of the Italy squad that clinched the European Under-19 Championship. However, he has made only one brief appearance for Lecce in the Coppa Italia this season.
As part of the exchange, Napoli may include a player in the deal. Alessio Zerbin is one possibility, but Rafa Marin seems more likely to be involved.
Marin Seeks Playing Time, Hasa Set for Napoli Move
Reports from Spain suggest that Marin has requested to leave Napoli in January to gain more playing time. The defender specifically wants to remain in Serie A to gain experience in the Italian league.
However, Napoli, who invested €12 million in acquiring Marin from Real Madrid, would prefer to loan him out rather than sell him permanently. Marin has made only two Coppa Italia appearances this season and is yet to debut in Serie A.
Another potential destination for Marin is Como, according to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio.
This potential swap deal represents an intriguing opportunity for both clubs to strengthen their squads and provide valuable playing time for their young talents.
