Milan Fans Express Outrage at 125th Anniversary Event

During AC Milan’s 125th anniversary celebration, a group of ultras gathered outside the venue to voice their displeasure with the team’s recent performance. The protest resulted in a tense atmosphere, with some players facing harsh criticism while others received a more positive reception.

The situation was so volatile that club president Gerry Cardinale and other executives were forced to enter through a side entrance to avoid direct confrontation with the protesters. Coach Paulo Fonseca was met with silence upon arrival.

Several players, including Rafael Leao, Theo Hernandez, Fikayo Tomori, and Tammy Abraham, were subjected to insulting chants demanding they show more determination on the field. In contrast, young talent Francesco Camarda, along with Christian Pulisic, Mike Maignan, Tijjani Reijnders, and Youssouf Fofana, were greeted with cheers from the crowd.

This incident follows a disappointing 0-0 draw at San Siro the previous night, where the team was booed off the pitch. The ultras made it clear through social media that they felt there was “nothing to celebrate” given the club’s current state.

The protest highlights the growing frustration among Milan supporters with the team’s performance and direction under its current leadership. As the club moves forward, it will need to address these concerns to repair its relationship with its passionate fanbase.
