Harvard Business School recently published a 24-page case study on AC Milan, featuring insights from CEO Giorgio Furlani, an alumnus of the prestigious institution. In the study, Furlani shared some behind-the-scenes information about the club’s recent ownership change.
Regarding RedBird Capital’s acquisition and Gerry Cardinale’s involvement, Furlani stated: “We had several interested parties approaching us, as it was no secret that Elliott was looking to sell their stake at the right price. Ultimately, Gerry proved to be the most interested and willing buyer.”
