McKennie commends Motta’s leadership and Gonzalez’s South American spirit

Weston McKennie played a crucial role in Juventus’ victory over Monza, showcasing his versatility by starting as an unconventional left-back and finishing the game as an attacking midfielder. The American player, who scored the opening goal at the U-Power Stadium, shared his thoughts after the match.

Speaking about coach Thiago Motta, McKennie said, “I call him ‘Prof’ or ‘Mister’. At the beginning of the year, he told me to work hard, play my role, and help the team whenever possible. I’m fine with that. I really appreciate his approach with the team.”
