Lyon’s Lineup Adjustments for Montpellier Clash
Olympique Lyonnais is set to face Montpellier HSC on Saturday evening with some notable changes to their lineup. The team will be without midfielder Maxence Caqueret, who has been sidelined for two weeks and is not included in Pierre Sage’s squad selection.
In addition to Caqueret’s absence and Nicolas Tagliafico’s suspension, Lyon will also be missing Adryelson and Wilfried Zaha. Both players are currently out of favor and may be considering transfers during this month’s window.
Alexandre Lacazette is expected to spearhead the attack, likely relegating Georges Mikautadze to a substitute role. The right wing could see Ernest Nuamah starting, despite his recent reduced playing time, while the in-form Malick Fofana is anticipated to take the left wing position. Rayan Cherki is poised to fill the number 10 role behind the striker.
