Leon Fust Shares His Experience Working with Tuchel, Nagelsmann, and Kompany at Bayern Munich
Leon Fust, a new addition to FC Kuban, recently shared his experiences working with top coaches at Bayern Munich. In his interview, Fust discussed his time under Thomas Tuchel, Julian Nagelsmann, and Vincent Kompany, offering insights into their coaching styles and approaches to young players.
Fust expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to train with the first team under such renowned managers. He noted that he felt more comfortable with Tuchel, who actively engaged with younger players and provided guidance. In contrast, Fust observed that Nagelsmann seemed less interested in interacting with youth team members.
Regarding Vincent Kompany, the current Bayern Munich coach, Fust suggested that his approach to young players was more similar to Nagelsmann’s. However, Fust emphasized that the primary goal of any Bayern Munich head coach is to consistently win titles rather than focus on developing young talent.
Reflecting on his experience, Fust stated, “I have absolutely nothing to complain about. I can only be proud that I had the chance to work with such accomplished coaches and alongside the stars of the first team at some point in my career.”
Fust’s comments provide a unique perspective on the coaching dynamics at one of Europe’s top football clubs, highlighting the different priorities and approaches of elite managers in handling young talent within a high-pressure, results-driven environment.
