Juventus Defender Danilo Sidelined for Monza Clash

Despite his best efforts, Danilo will not be available for Juventus in their upcoming Serie A match against Monza. The Brazilian defender’s absence adds to the growing list of unavailable players for the Turin club. Danilo is still experiencing ankle discomfort, and although there’s no structural damage, he won’t be able to contribute to the already depleted defensive line.

Danilo suffered a minor ankle sprain during training sessions leading up to the Monza game. He didn’t travel with the team and underwent a fitness test to assess the extent of his injury. Unfortunately, he failed to pass the final evaluation, forcing him to sit out the match. Despite not being on the field, Danilo will join his teammates to provide moral support for this crucial game, which comes after four consecutive league draws.

The Brazilian international aims to return for Juventus’ next fixture against Fiorentina, where he could be deployed on either the right or left side of the defense. In more positive news, Andrea Cambiaso is expected to be available for the Monza match after recovering from an ankle injury that kept him sidelined for three games.

However, Juventus will still be without long-term absentees Bremer, Cabal, and Milik, as well as Douglas Luiz and Weah for the Monza clash. The club is likely to reinforce its defensive options in the January transfer window to address these ongoing injury concerns.
