Inter’s Strategy for Bisseck Amid Premier League Interest

According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United have been monitoring Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck. However, the Italian club has no intentions of parting ways with the German center-back during the January transfer window.

Sources indicate that scouts from Tottenham and West Ham were present at San Siro on December 6th to observe Bisseck during Inter’s 3-1 victory over Parma. While the reports on the 24-year-old defender have been positive, Inter values Bisseck at €40 million and is not considering any sales next month.

Though not typically a starter, Bisseck has seen increased playing time this season due to injuries to other defenders. His performances have been so impressive that Germany national team coach Julian Nagelsmann recently contacted him about a potential first call-up to the senior squad.

Inter acquired Bisseck for just €7 million in 2023. While they have no plans to sell in January, the club may entertain offers at the end of the season if substantial bids are made. For now, Inter’s strategy is clear – retain Bisseck through the winter and reassess the situation in the summer transfer window.
