Inter CEO Marotta: Aiming for Serie A Title and Champions League Final
In a recent interview before Inter Milan’s match against Lazio, CEO Giuseppe Marotta shared his thoughts on the team’s aspirations and current standing in Serie A.
Regarding the importance of the upcoming match, Marotta stated, “Tonight’s performance is crucial. While the league table is starting to take shape, it’s still too early to talk about title contenders or runaways. Our focus is on getting positive results and putting on a great show for the fans.”
When asked about Inter’s readiness to win both Serie A and the Champions League, Marotta emphasized the club’s competitive nature: “It’s in our DNA to strive for excellence in all competitions. We’re aiming for the Champions League final and the Serie A title. For a club like Inter, it’s essential to think big and never settle for less.”
Commenting on captain Lautaro Martinez’s goal-scoring form, Marotta added, “Goals are always a confidence booster, especially for strikers. While scoring isn’t our main concern, having our captain contribute to the goal tally certainly makes winning easier.”
As the season progresses, Inter Milan continues to demonstrate their determination to succeed both domestically and in Europe, with Marotta’s words reflecting the club’s ambitious outlook.
