Hancko Prepared to Request Transfer to Join Juventus in January
Reports indicate that Feyenoord defender David Hancko is prepared to formally request a transfer in order to join Juventus during the January transfer window.
According to recent reports, negotiations between Juventus and Hancko’s representatives have ramped up in recent weeks, particularly following Juan Cabal’s knee injury. The Italian club appears eager to bolster their defensive lineup with a significant signing in January, moving up plans originally slated for the summer transfer window.
Sources suggest Hancko is willing to push for the move and may submit an official transfer request as early as next week. Feyenoord currently values the Slovak defender at around €30 million, though Juventus is hoping to negotiate a loan deal with an obligation to buy.
The two clubs have a positive working relationship, having completed a deal for Facundo Gonzalez last summer. To fund the potential Hancko transfer, Juventus may look to offload players like Nicolò Fagioli and Douglas Luiz, with Premier League clubs showing interest.
As talks progress, it appears increasingly likely that Hancko could be wearing the black and white stripes of Juventus in the near future, pending successful negotiations between all parties involved.
