Genoa vs. Napoli: Official Serie A Week 17 Lineups
Napoli will field David Neres, Romelu Lukaku and Scott McTominay in their away fixture against Andrea Pinamonti’s Genoa, who remain undefeated under Patrick Vieira’s management.
The match kicks off at 17:00 GMT at Stadio Luigi Ferraris, also known as Marassi.
Napoli manager Antonio Conte is still without the injured Alessandro Buongiorno, while Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is only fit enough for a place on the bench. This means another start for David Neres in the attacking trident alongside Lukaku and Matteo Politano. Scott McTominay features in midfield, with Juan Jesus filling in at the back.
Genoa have maintained an unbeaten record since Vieira took over from Alberto Gilardino, securing three draws and a 2-0 victory against Udinese. They have kept three consecutive clean sheets, holding both Torino and Milan to 0-0 draws.
Genoa still face injury concerns, with Koni De Winter, Junior Messias, Ruslan Malinovskyi and Honest Ahanor sidelined. However, Caleb Ekuban is fit enough to make the bench. The match holds special significance for Alessandro Zanoli, who is on loan from Napoli with an option to buy.
Mario Balotelli remains on the bench for Genoa, while Vitinha gets the nod to start alongside Pinamonti in attack.
