Galatasaray Official Confirms Talks with Dybala as Roma Departure Looms
Galatasaray’s vice-president Metin Ozturk has confirmed that the Turkish club has been in contact with representatives of Roma forward Paulo Dybala. This revelation comes amid growing speculation about Dybala’s future at the Italian club as the January transfer window approaches.
Recent reports suggest that Roma is planning a significant squad overhaul in the coming transfer windows. The club is reportedly willing to part ways with several key players, including Dybala, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Bryan Cristante, and even recent signings Enzo Le Fee and Mario Hermoso.
Ozturk stated, “We anticipate both departures and arrivals during the winter transfer window. Our decisions will align with the recommendations of Okan Buruk and our scouting team. While I’m not directly overseeing the operations, I can confirm that there have been discussions. However, the final decision rests with Okan Hodja.”
He added, “The management’s role is to handle the financial aspects and conduct negotiations. There is significant interest from players in joining our club.”
These comments from Galatasaray’s vice-president add weight to the rumors of Dybala’s potential exit from Roma. The situation remains fluid, with the January transfer window set to open soon, potentially bringing significant changes to both Roma and Galatasaray’s squads.
