Dele Alli to Begin Training with Como Under Cesc Fabregas

According to reports from Italy, former Tottenham star Dele Alli is expected to arrive in Italy tomorrow to commence training with Como under the guidance of Cesc Fabregas starting December 26.

The 28-year-old English midfielder was recently spotted at Como’s Stadio Sinigaglia during their 2-0 victory over Roma. Following that match, Como’s coach Cesc Fabregas confirmed that Alli would join the team for training after the Christmas holiday.

Alli, who has been without a club since his Everton contract expired in June 2024, is looking to revive his career in Italy. The former England international boasts an impressive record of 51 goals and 34 assists in 194 Premier League appearances.

His last competitive match was over a year ago for Turkish side Besiktas on February 26, 2023. Como will assess Alli’s performance during this training period before deciding whether to offer him a permanent contract.
