Borussia Dortmund Shows Interest in Milan Škriniar
According to recent reports, Borussia Dortmund has entered the competition to acquire Milan Škriniar, the 29-year-old defender currently with Paris Saint-Germain. This development adds a new dimension to the transfer speculation surrounding the Slovak player, who has been strongly linked with a move to Galatasaray.
Škriniar’s position at PSG has become precarious under manager Luis Enrique. With the partnership of Marquinhos and Willian Pacho solidifying as the preferred defensive duo, and the return of Presnel Kimpembe and Lucas Hernandez from injuries, along with the presence of Lucas Beraldo, Škriniar’s prospects for playing time have diminished significantly.
The defender’s limited participation this season – only five appearances totaling 381 minutes, with no Champions League action – has led to a change in his stance. Unlike his determination to succeed at PSG last summer, Škriniar is now open to leaving the club.
While Galatasaray has shown the most keen interest, an unnamed Premier League club is also in contention. Borussia Dortmund’s recent inquiry about a potential loan deal for Škriniar adds them to the list of suitors. The player is reportedly intrigued by the possibility of joining the Bundesliga side, although financial considerations may pose a challenge for Dortmund in finalizing any agreement.
As the transfer window progresses, the future of Milan Škriniar remains uncertain, with multiple clubs vying for his services and PSG likely to consider offers for the out-of-favor defender.
