Bologna Earn 2-0 Win at Torino with Dallinga and Pobega Goals
Bologna continued their strong form with a 2-0 away victory over Torino in Serie A. Substitute Thijs Dallinga scored his first goal for Bologna, while Tommaso Pobega added a second to secure the three points.
The visitors were awarded an early penalty after a VAR review, but Santiago Castro’s spot kick was saved by Torino goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic. Bologna increased the pressure in the second half, with Pobega hitting the crossbar before Dallinga broke the deadlock in the 71st minute, tapping in Juan Miranda’s cross just 42 seconds after coming on as a substitute.
Pobega then sealed the win in the 80th minute when his shot went through Dallinga’s legs and into the net. The goal was initially ruled out for offside but awarded after a VAR check showed Dallinga was onside.
The result means Bologna have now won six of their last eight league matches. For Torino, it ended their brief upturn in form after winning their previous match against Empoli.
