Birindelli’s Memorable Debut Goal in Serie A Against Juventus

In a remarkable turn of events, Samuele Birindelli netted his first-ever Serie A goal during the Monza-Juventus match. The 22nd minute of the game saw Birindelli connecting with Andrea Carboni’s cross, leveling the score at the U-Power Stadium. His left-footed volley was unstoppable, leaving his former teammate Michele Di Gregorio, who had recently moved to Juventus, with no chance to save.

The goal holds special significance as it came against Juventus, the club where Samuele’s father, Alessandro Birindelli, spent a significant portion of his career. Alessandro played for the Turin giants for 11 seasons, from 1997 to 2008, amassing nearly 200 appearances. During his tenure, he clinched three Serie A titles, one Serie B championship, three Italian Super Cups, and an Intertoto Cup.

Samuele Birindelli, born in 1999, joined Monza in the summer of 2022 following the team’s promotion to Serie A. Prior to this, he spent six seasons with Pisa, competing in both Serie B and Serie C, where he also developed through the youth ranks. This goal marks a pivotal moment in the young player’s career, continuing the Birindelli family’s legacy in Italian football.
