Bayer Leverkusen defeats St. Pauli 2-1 in Bundesliga match

Bayer Leverkusen earned a 2-1 home victory over St. Pauli in Matchday 13 of the German Bundesliga on December 7, 2024.

Florian Wirtz opened the scoring for Leverkusen in the 6th minute. Jonathan Tah doubled their lead in the 21st minute. Morgan Guilavogui pulled one back for St. Pauli in the 84th minute, but it was not enough to avoid defeat.

This marks Leverkusen’s fifth consecutive win across all competitions. They now sit in third place in the Bundesliga table with 26 points. St. Pauli remain in 15th place with 11 points.
