Everton Exploring Options to Part Ways with £50k-per-week Striker in January

According to recent reports, Everton Football Club is currently engaged in discussions regarding the potential sale of a diligent forward. The Merseyside club is willing to sanction a move, provided certain conditions are met.

Manager Sean Dyche is keen to bolster Everton’s attacking options this January, especially with uncertainty surrounding Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s future. The English striker, whose contract expires at the end of the season, is reportedly eyeing an exit, with Spanish club Sevilla emerging as a frontrunner for his signature.

In light of this, Everton has identified several potential replacements. The club has made inquiries about Borussia Mönchengladbach striker Tim Kleindienst, impressed by his performances in the Bundesliga. Additionally, Rangers forward Hamza Igamane has caught their attention, though securing his services may prove challenging given his recent arrival at Ibrox.

Everton’s need for a new striker may be further intensified by uncertainty surrounding Beto’s future. Reports from Italy suggest that Serie A side Torino is interested in the Portuguese forward, with talks underway for a potential move.

While Torino is prepared to offer an expensive loan deal, including a fee of up to €4 million (£3.3 million) and covering the player’s wages, Everton has made it clear they are only interested in a permanent transfer or a loan with an obligation to buy.

Despite Beto’s passion and work ethic, praised by his former coach Richard Pessoa, he has struggled to find consistent form at Goodison Park, scoring just three Premier League goals last season. If the striker desires a return to Italy, Everton may not stand in his way, provided they can secure a suitable replacement.

Tim Kleindienst, who has impressed with 14 goal contributions in 15 Bundesliga games this season, could be an ideal candidate to lead Everton’s attack going forward.
