Manchester United enthusiast and social media personality Mark Goldbridge has expressed his frustration following the announcement of Mason Mount’s latest injury setback. This development presents yet another challenge for the club’s new manager, Ruben Amorim.

Amorim’s tenure at Old Trafford has gotten off to a rocky start. Adding to the club’s woes, it has been revealed that Mount, a key midfield acquisition, will be sidelined until March due to a severe hamstring injury. The former Chelsea player lasted only 12 minutes in the match against Manchester City before being forced off the pitch, visibly distressed by the situation.

This news proved too much for Goldbridge, who took to social media to express his disappointment, simply posting “forget it” in response to the injury announcement.

Mount still has nearly four years remaining on his £250,000 per week contract at Old Trafford. However, he has yet to deliver a string of performances that justify his substantial transfer fee and wages since joining from Chelsea.
