Sevilla FC’s press office has responded to rumors suggesting that the club’s sporting director, Victor Orta, was being considered for a similar position at Spartak Moscow. The Spanish club has firmly denied these speculations, emphasizing Orta’s ongoing commitment to Sevilla.

“Victor Orta has a contract with Sevilla FC. He will continue his work with the club,” a spokesperson for Sevilla FC stated, effectively putting an end to the rumors circulating about Orta’s potential departure.

This clarification comes in the wake of recent reports by various media outlets suggesting that Spartak Moscow was eyeing Orta as a priority candidate for their sporting director position.

Meanwhile, in the Russian Premier League, Spartak Moscow currently holds the third position in the league table with 37 points at the conclusion of the autumn-winter part of the season. They trail behind league leaders Krasnodar and second-placed Zenit, both of whom have accumulated 39 points thus far.
