Juventus: Koopmeiners undergoes medical examinations after injury
Dutch midfielder Teun Koopmeiners visited the J Medical center this morning for medical examinations. The 25-year-old Juventus player was substituted at halftime during Sunday evening’s 2-1 away victory against Monza due to a suspected adductor muscle issue.
The purpose of today’s tests is to determine the extent of the muscular problem Koopmeiners experienced on the field. Following the match, coach Thiago Motta expressed optimism, stating, “We hope he’s alright. I’m not worried.”
Koopmeiners joined Juventus from Atalanta last summer in a transfer worth €54.7 million, with potential bonuses of up to €6 million. The midfielder signed a contract with the Turin club until June 2029, earning a net salary of €4.5 million per year. Since his arrival, he has made 19 appearances for Juventus, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists in 1447 minutes of play.
In other news, Brazilian defender Gleison Bremer was also seen at the J Medical center, continuing his rehabilitation following anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction surgery on his left knee, which he underwent on October 8th.
