Danilo’s Availability in Question for Juventus’ Away Game at Monza
Despite being included in Juventus’ squad list for the upcoming match against Monza, Brazilian defender Danilo’s participation remains uncertain. The player has not yet traveled with the team as he undergoes medical evaluations.
The Serie A fixture is scheduled to take place at Monza’s U-Power Stadium on Sunday evening. While Juventus has officially named Danilo in their squad, reports from Italian media suggest he has remained in Turin for further assessment.
Danilo reportedly sustained a minor ankle sprain during a training session. As a precautionary measure, he is currently at Juventus’ Continassa training facility undergoing tests. The final decision regarding his involvement in the match will only be made on the morning of the game.
This potential absence comes at a challenging time for Juventus, who are already dealing with several defensive injuries. Key players such as Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal are sidelined for the remainder of the season, while Arkadiusz Milik and Douglas Luiz are also unavailable due to injuries.
Andrea Cambiaso has been included in the squad, though he too is not fully fit and may not be risked in the starting lineup. These defensive concerns pose a significant challenge for Juventus as they prepare to face Monza in this crucial Serie A encounter.
