Fonseca Confident in Jimenez’s Role at Milan
Milan’s head coach Paulo Fonseca recently discussed Alex Jimenez’s performance during a press conference. He stated, “Jimenez is currently a starter, having played the last two matches. Alex has put in a lot of effort and has been crucial. He needs to maintain this level. I appreciate his energy and eagerness to run – that’s what we need. I’m not concerned about his age; it’s his performance that matters.”
When asked about future technical evaluations, Fonseca replied, “He must continue performing well. We’ll see which position suits him best, as he’s also played as a winger today.”
Addressing why Jimenez only began featuring prominently in December, Fonseca simply said, “He has now become an integral part of our team.”
These comments highlight Fonseca’s faith in Jimenez’s abilities and the young player’s growing importance to the Milan squad.
